Service Projects - Bianca's Blankets

Bianca's Blankets
On Sunday, January 21, 2007 St. Euphrasia Parish
sponsored the first Biancas Blankets Service Project.
We had over 100 students, sponsors, parents, and adults
help us make 110 no sew blankets to donate to area
hospitals for kids and adults who are facing life
threatening diseases.

To watch an entire community come together to help
others was very overwhelming. Lori Agrella, the founder
of Biancas Blankets, was able to prepare all the
blankets so that the service project was easy
to do for all who participated. It was a day of fellowship
and all who attended had a really good time. It was fun!!!

This was a great way for our parish community to reach
out to our global community in brotherhood and
stewardship. It is definitely something I would do again.
